What is Koenigsegg?



Koenigsegg is a Swedish car manufacturer that specifically builts supercars, megacars, and other high-performance sports cars. It is based in Angelholm. It was founded in 1994 by Christian von Koenigsegg with the ambition of producing the best supercars in the world. His desire to build his dream car has led him to launch the Koenigsegg car company in 1994, when he was still 22 years old. nnKOENIGSEGG The badge was initially designed in 1994 by a man named John Låftman, which was inspired by the shield of the KOENIGSEGG family line. This shield was wor by the family since the 12th century. The Phantom on the badge KOENIGSEGG rear window is really a tribute to the Swedish squadron that handled on the F10 starting, which often acquired the actual ghostlogo.nnToday, Koenigsegg has gone a long way and the company has a full R&D department filled with state-of-the-art equipment. Christian Koenigsegg’s passion to create the perfect supercar and to fulfill his dream has brought him into power. nIn the present, the term Koenigsegg is more popularly known to refer to the world-class supercars that the company has built. The following are among the famous Koenigsegg cars:n




2015 Koenigsegg Agera R nAn exclusive hypercar created by Christian, the Koenigsegg Agera R stretches 169 inches long and 78.6 inches wide. It is about 44.1 inches tall. It favors evolutionary design changes and was designed specifically as a race car for the road. Its powered by a 5.0-liter twin-turbocharged v8 engine. Its huge brakes on all the four corners make Agera accelerate to 124 mph and come to a full stop in a short period as 12.6 seconds.

The Koenigsegg Regera 2016

This car was created to become a luxury Megacar. It is comfortable, practical, and was built the way the Koenigsegg’s want it. The Regera is also meant to become one of the fastest cars in the world. It is a very powerful production car and the king of the open road. It accelerates fast, and is one of the parallel models in the company’s car production.



The Koenigsegg One:1



This is the world’s first Megacar and exclusive production car program is the first in the car industry. Its features include track-optimized aero winglets, 8250 RPM rev limit, optimized air management, custom-built Michelin Cup Tires, carbon fiber wheels, and more.

  • 2010 Koenigsegg CCXR Travita is priced at $4,850,000, with top speed of 402 kpg/250 mpg and power of 1032 bhp/759 kW.
  • 2009 Koenigsegg NLV Quant has been priced at $3,000,000 with a top speed of 275 kpg/171 mpg and 520 bhpo/382 kW power.
  • 2007 Koenigsegg CCXR Edition is sold at $2.5mm with top speed of 402 kpg/250 mph and power of 1032 bhp/759 kW.
  • 2014 Koenigsegg One:1 is priced at $2.5mm, top speed 430 kph /267 mph with power of 1360 bhp/1000 kW
  • Koenigsegg is concerned of perfection and being able to produce the best and fastest cars but this is not limited to fulfilling Christian’s dream. The company was the first car manufacturer to initiate the way toward green technology when they released the biofuel CCXR in 2007. The One:1 followed CCXR with it running on E85 biofuel, race fuel or regular gasoline.

The Koenigsegg supercars and megacars have definitely achieved their goals of producing a unique array of the fastest and best supercars in the world.

Furious 7 Movie takeover Event Details!

The time has come! This Saturday is the private screening and I’m sure there are a bunch of unanswered questions about what exactly is going on. So here is the run through.  We will be meeting at Tanger outlets at around 9:30 , 10:00 AM. Parking will be located in the corner of the tanger entrance as seen in the diagram! This area is not too far from the theater but it is out of the way of main traffic. We will then request that people start making their way towards the theater around 10:00 – 10:30 AM.

Tickets and T-Shirts will be distributed inside Regal in the “Party Room” which is past the concessions towards the entrance of the theater hallway. To collect your tickets please bring an ID reference if possible! Once you get your tickets feel free to go back outside or get your popcorn / snacks. We will open up the theaters ( there are 2) at 11 AM so try and get in as soon as possible and get your seats! The movie will begin at 11:30 AM sharp and we are not responsible if you don’t get the seats you want in the theaters! The early bird gets the worm!

After the movie is done we would like to get a few group shots right outside the theater and by the cars parked. Then, if you would like,  join us for a lunch! We will be at Verde Across the street ( as seen on diagram bellow). They have a big parking lot so feel free to invite anyone you would like. It will be a car meet as well as a luncheon. If you would like to sit down and eat please make a reservation on OpenTable with the link bellow as seating is limited.



Please be on time! We want everyone in the theater by at least 11:15! Keep in mind ticket sales are final and no refunds can be given due to the nature of the event. We have sold out the theater and had to cut other people out due to space restrictions! We are glad that everyone who is attending was able to get in before the cutoff time! Also, please be on your best behavior. By that I mean no reckless driving! There will be police staked out in various areas not only at Tanger but on Commack Road. Deer Park Tanger Security will be present in parking lot and in front of theater so please do not give them a reason not to allow us to be there. Let us show them that the automotive community is not as reckless and as immature as it is currently perceived as by the public. If it all works out we may do a bigger show at the Outlets! Consider this a trial Run for “Uhh Dope” and “Exotic Legends to do something larger scale.
