CarBuzz FAIL – Pagani WIN

CarBuzz Released an Article called :

“FAIL: Stranded Pagani Dragged Off Beach By Used Honda”

Article was written in response to leaked footage and picture of Instagram users’ @Sparky18888 Pagani getting stuck on Gravel during a photoshoot by a lake. In the article on CarBuzz they describe this as a “moment of shame” and said the owner would be “presumably left with a permanent mental scar.”

When will online publications actually write content without taking jabs to car owners. To us over here at Uhh Dope we see this moment as a WIN. The whole purpose of having a car is to drive it and Enjoy it. Whether it’s a Honda CRV or a 1:1:1 Pagani, we all get cars to enjoy them. My hat is Off to @Sparky18888 and all the super car owners who take the extra step to get that cool shot, who go above and beyond to attend and participate in Rally’s, and who truly live the Super Car Lifestyle.

Regera Interior

Stunning Koenigsegg Regera is as unique as the exterior. What are your thoughts on the inside of this car?

Koenigsegg Regera Unveiled at Geneva

Koenigsegg Breaks another record with the Regera

Koenigsegg unveiled the new Regera yesterday and of course they had to go off and break another record. The Regera uses a gasoline electric hybrid drivetrain that pushes 1500 horsepower. The Car is mainly composed of Kevlar an carbon fiber and weighs in at about 3,500 pounds. The name Regera means “to reign” from the Swedish language and it most certainly does. It can hit 250 Miles per hour under a shocking 20 seconds and 155 Miles per hour in 3.2.They say their 0-62mph is traction.

It is a hybrid, and so it has been estimated tat you can travel up to around 18 miles on just the electric power alone, but considering it is a twin-turbo 5.0-litre V8 chances are your going t want to be on both gas and electric power. At the end of the day Koenigsegg claims the possibility that the Regera can output somewhere close to 1800bhp and 1475lb ft of torque; which in my opinion is absolutely insane considering the fact it is strictly a rear wheel drive car.

The biggest thing that different with this car is that there is no transmission… Wait, hold on.. NO TRANSMISSION? That’s correct the idea came to Christian Von Koenigsegg last summer and he made it happen. Click the link below for more information about technical aspects of the Regera straight from Koenigsegg.

Signature Car Collection Review

In A League of Their Own…

I can not tell you how many time’s I’ve heard the saying “Ohh It’s Just A Rental“. Has it ever occurred to people that even if it’s just a rental, that it’s still an Exotic. These “rentals” aren’t your typical Enterprise cars nor are they anywhere in the same ballpark price wise. If you are renting an Exotic it means that you have luxury to rent an exotic.  There are a few Exotic Car Rental Services out there but I have never seen any that compare to the professionalism of Signature Car Collection (Newark, New Jersey).

At a first glance from the outside it may not seem like much but as soon as you enter the building it is as though you have entered a garage fit for a king.

The Passion…

Just by walking into their establishment you feel like you are about to become a part of something special. When entering I had walked in through their repair facility which could easily be described as any auto-enthusiast dream garage. The First thing I saw when walking in was a lamborghini gallardo on a lift. I soon learned that they worked on their own cars and had people on staff who were certified Lamborghini and exotic technicians.

To me this was something I truly respected about SCC because it shows that they are not only  about business. Anyone can rent exotics to clients but for a business to be passionate and care about their cars enough to have an entire garage dedicated to repairing and maintaining their vehicles shows a lot and is highly respectable in my opinion in this industry.

More than just a Car Rental Company..

This is not your typical Car Rental Company. Signature Car Collection also does Track events multiple times a year. They bring their company cars and allow people to drive these super cars the way they are meant to be driven. Upcoming Track dates can be viewed on their website.

They also have a collection of old classic super rare cars in the section right next to where they keep their exotics. We were unable to get in but from what I was told it was also converted into a catering hall,. They also have a cigar lounge on the upper level.

Not much else to say…

If you have not used Signature Car Collection… It’s a no Brainer

Red Tomato Rally

We’re going to just let the pictures do the talking for this one everybody. This meet was a great way to open the season.  You could not turn your head without not seeing an exotic. The weather was nice and we got to see some familiar faces and play catch-up. We even got motivated to actually commit to one of our potential projects.  We have a lot of things in the works right now and we can’t wait to get to work this season. We’ll See everyone soon!

Of course we met up with our friends TeamSalamone at the event. They’re always a fun time, and we also had a chance to talk about Gold Rush Rally and the crazyness instore!

F430 Ferrari Get’s Graffiti’d Pro Status

On March 29th something unheard of took place at Martino Auto Concepts.  Something so absurd that even we we’re confused until we found out who else was involved.  Last Saturday a Ferrari F430 got a graffiti paint job, and believe it or not,  it was not an act of vandalism. It was quite the opposite. Legendary graffiti artist John “Crash” Matos aka CrashOne was the man with the rattle can. We had never heard of CrashOne and after doing our research we were embarrassed.  His work has been featured around the world from places like the Bronx to France and Monaco.  Unfortunately we were not there first hand but others present took some awesome shots and videos! Please take a look below and shoot them a visit!

Koenigsegg CCXRS is One of a kind

A lot of us have seen the Koenigsegg for the first time at the end of the Fast and Furious 5. Or maybe you just saw the new Need For Speed Movie and fell in love with the beauty and speed of the car portrayed in the film. Regardless of how you know of this car it is a well known fact that this car is a BADASS. Today we are taking a look at a one of a kind Koenigsegg.

To start off we are looking at a the only Koenigsegg in NYS. To the untrained eye it looks like a normal Koenigsegg CCXR. But after looking closer and asking a few questions about the car we learned that this car actually has the Interior and Motor of a Koenigsegg Agera R. The stock CCXR has about  1018 hp at 7.200 rpm and does 10-60 in about 3.2 Seconds. The Agera R  has 1140 Horsepower and  a 0-60 in about 2.9 seconds. This car hasn’t been put on a track yet so we don’t know the exact numbers this car would run but it definitely is a unique build being that it is the only CCXRS in the world. This car is so custom that Koenigsegg named the car model after the car owner ( the added S stands for the last name of the owner of the car).

The Koenigsegg is not the only car that the owner has in his exotic line-up. He also owns a Ferrari 458 Italia, a Ferrari F12, a Ferrari California, and a Aston Martin Vanquish .

This is the definition of any mans dream toy house.

He also owns the entire hanger that we shot the cars in, along with one of the Jets seen. The other Jets in the hanger belong to people that rent space in his hanger. He is currently trying to organize a car show on the jet strip located right outside.

50 Cent and Winning TeamSalamone Lamborghini

This Sunday 50 Cent and TeamSalamone combined Forces. The Spaceship WINNING Lamborghini will be featured in 50 cents new music video for an upcoming album. There was a lot of speculation as to whether it was a music video or a photo-shoot for the foam sneakers he was wearing but now we have confirmed it was for a video. For anyone who has been living under the a rock and doesn’t know what’s so special about this car, let us just say this. The Car itself retails for around 450 Grand and that’s not to include the custom paint job and Chrome plated vinyl that wraps the car. And the Team inside the car is even more spectacular. A simple Google of “TeamSalamone” will satisfy your curiosity, or if anything simply browse our page Facebook page or website. We are the “TeamSalamone” Exclusive Media Group. (Keep an eye out for our exclusive coverage of the GoldRushRally 😉 )

50 Cent will also be helping out Bryan of TeamSalamone raise funds towards a charity looking to help build schools and water wells in Zambia. Funds will also help rid of the big issue of women and children being abducted and sold in trafficking and as sex slaves. TeamSalamone has always been one to think of charity and this his support on this matter is no surprise.

What will 50 Cent come out with. We are big fans of his here at “Uhh Dope”. We hope to see more of him around our community and even more of him on our radio! It’s been a while since you came out and dominated our ears. It’s about time you come out swinging!
